4 years ago, I found myself separated, grossly overweight, making $10 an hour, raising 4 kids alone in a friend’s basement with no stove. Doing energy healing and coaching, on the side, trying to keep the power on.

On one side of my reality was my bodybuilding, narcissistic cheating husband and my perfect Barbie doll friend’s?

On the other was a gay man, I was madly in love with despite the obvious and my yummy soul sisters I dearly adored.

I was so confused, angry, and haunted by the split situation. I found myself crying alone, begging the universe for answers. Than it happened.

As I looked down, I saw, perfect almost fake looking flowers called Daffodils, which are also called Narcissists. These perfect yellow flowers, were merging in a bush of soul yummy wild sage. A plant I often used in sweat lodges. In this organic life altering moment, nature taught me, why I had created my split reality. I had a belief from my early childhood that said be soul food not eye candy. I had become selfless vs selfloving! Just like soo many healers and mentors today.

The UNIVERSE WANTED ME TO KNOW IT WAS OK TO HAVE BOTH. THAT IS WAS TIME TO BALANCE AND LEARN HOW TO LOVE MYSELF FULLY. TO STOP SHAMING MY NEEDS AND BE BOTH!
